Oh don't worry I will most deffo be popping the pic on here, it'll be the only way of keeping my mouth shut :D
It was quite funny yesterday I nearly blurted it out because I was at my mums with Christopher and a friend of ours who had her 2nd at the end of sept. as we were chatting I said something like I'd save that thing for next time. and she said well I have to tell you its really hard with 2, nobody told me how hard it would be - like she was warning me off and I was sat there thinking its a bit late now lol!

i know, when we hadn't told people hubby and i both nearly put our feet in it or i had to be careful what i looked at when shopping with hubby's family etc. one time at a car boot i sneaked off to buy a baby book when we hadn't told anyone.

nope, not at all. i think its great. you obviously have an interest in an area and are expanding your skills/education. more respect to you i say. well done seriously, you should be proud of yourself.

i too work in an occupation where as soon as you mention it you are hit with certain questions, but wont go into that.

hope you can enjoy your pregnancy now with all the exam stress out of the way.

Thanks a lot. Can't say I'm particularly glad to be back to work today though! Could do with a week to catch up on sleep! Still only 7 working weeks until I'm on maternity leave which really isn't long when I consider there are holidays and things to look forward in between now and then:D
I prob wouldn't admit it, not because its geeky but because you know as soon as you say it someone will say "ooh I've been having a problem with my tax return blah blah!" last thing you want at a dinner party:rolleyes:
I specialise in corporate tax so just tell them its not my area but you're right, that is exactly what happens and its so wearisome, that and the gamekeeper/poacher line (me being a poacher, sigh). Yawn.

  • Me!

I am still a pic fan of getting pics developed and putting in albums along with ticket stubs etc.

Sooooo, already got copies of extra pics so that we can build a photo album up for each of the twins to give them as an 18th birthday present. So far we have:

    1) pic of cross positive pregnacy test
    2) pic of digital pregnancy test saying "pregnant"
    3) scan of twins together at 11 weeks
    4) scan of each of the twins separately at 11 weeks.

Needless to say, I love my photos!

So glad it wasn't just me who took a pic of the pregnancy test! (In fact I still have the actual test in my memory box although it no longer says anything:o )

  • I was so glad we did take pics of both sets of tests as we had gone away to the in-laws and they only last about 30 hrs each before they both faded and died.

    Also forgot one pic:

    5) pic of mum and dad to be holding said digital pregnancy test!

aww Ickle its just a shame you wont know which twin is which on the scan that would be soo cool.
I'd love to do a scrap book I so wouldn't ever get round to it, I do have a keepsake box with Chris's hosp tags, the copy of the paper he was in when we entered a cute bubba comp, christening cert etc.
I do have three full photo albums and a bunch of photos to still get developed tho, still haven't got round to putting the date next to all the photos tho thats gonna take about a full day to do!

  • I do know which twin is which! I would have thought twins were side by side but in me they are one above the other so my scans say upper uterus and lower uterus so unless they change, we know which one will be born first.

Amazing facts I never thought I would learn!

oh, i will check the test i took when i get home. last time i checked you could still see the marking. silly me didnt think it would fade.

any thoughts on preserving the scan pics? i didn't seem to have the best of luck getting a good quality by scanning them. i dont want to lose them that's all
