Do you not OV every month then? :O

As last month i did my OV tests and two days i had dark lines, but one of the days it was darker than the other but not as dark as the control line. Slightly lighter.

Do you think i may not of OV'd?

    xx
As I understand it, most OPK's need the line to be as dark or darker than the control line in order to register a true positive, but it should be written on the packaging what you should be looking for. If you're able to look at it at work, check out http://www.peeonastick.com/ for some pictures of what positive OPKs look like.

If yours is that kind of OPK, you can definately expect to have more than one day where there's a line - the crucial thing is that the line is darker than the control. Throughout the month I can get faint lines on OPKs even when I am def not ovulating. Also, it matters what time of the day you test, and sometimes the surge is so short you can miss it altogether - thats why its important to go more on your body's signs and your CM as you can easily miss a positive OPK but if you have tonnes of EWCM then get bd'ing - no matter what the sticks say :)

We don't always ovulate every month.. FF says:

"Some women typically ovulate late in the cycle, while others may have delayed ovulation due to stress, illness, travel or other factors. You can't tell whether or not the cycle will turn out to be anovulatory until it is over so it is best to assume that you are still waiting for ovulation so you don't miss a chance. The occasional cycle without ovulation is usually not cause for concern. If you have several charts that do not show an ovulation pattern, however, or if you suspect that you may not be ovulating, you should talk to your doctor."

    (from http://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/No-ovulation.html)

    Hope this helps!

    Ooh who's in a link-sharing mood?

another one of my favourite sites is http://www.twoweekwait.com/web/ although watch the forums in there, those girls are fierce :D

if you're obsessive like me you'll love that site, they discuss everything in the tiniest detail.

I told my sister we were ttc (she's 5 years younger and has 2 already) and she had the gall to say "if you stop thinking about it and just relax it will happen" - don't you hate it when people say that!!! :rotfl:

    Families eh....*rolling eyes*

can you get to google? if so, try going through google cache. go to https://www.google.co.uk and in the search box type:

    cache:http://www.twoweekwait.com

it sort of hides the address. You'd need to do this in all the links in that site though to see them, but if you're desperate enough? :D
