We are going away during the six weeks school holidays, we are having some work done on our house & redecorating before this & I've got to get my leg back to full strength when I get my pot off at the end of the month.

Maybe having something else to think about might help get things moving.
  • Aww hope you have a lovely time on ur hols, u r having a busy time with your house too then!! :) Bet u cant wait to get the pot off ur leg, is pot ur plastercast? Sorry if durish question!! Good luck for u and OH whatever you decide, I am a great believer in 'if its meant to be it will be'. xx

My pot is fibreglass & bright pink, it's supposed to be lighter than a traditional plaster of paris pot but still weighs a fair bit.

It's a brilliant diet, I've lost a stone in three weeks as for the first two weeks I couldn't put my foot to the floor & had to use a zimmer frame to get around, now I am on crutches but it's still hard work, got rid of the bingo wings though.

Ooh Natalie, I'll have to try that trick for my toning my arms as they are badly in need - but might be a bit of an extreme way of going about it, I suppose!

Well everyone, hope you are all BDing and keeping positive. Sorry for those with AF now as it is always such a downer, but think of the fun you'll have trying in a week or so x

I am amazed to find I am still not OV positive. I am on CD13/28 so it is really late for me. Hope this isn't a bad sign that my body is starting to give up on the idea, but on the plus side at least my OH will be back in time now if it does suddenly show up.

Oh well, best of luck to all as usual x

MadMac day 13 of 28 day cycle is not late at all! text book cycle of 28 days puts ov at day 14. I have a 30 day cycle as was ov'ing on day 20 or 22 but last 2 cycles have been day 18.

Hello to the Newbies, and congrats to the BFPs that have appeared over last few days.

I'm back off my holiday (which was a nightmare so took my mind off the TTC in a not pleasant way!) Trying to relax this month (although easy to say at the moment at on CD7!)

    Good luck everyone . . . .

Hi becs and thanks for the reassurance - it just seems strange to me as I have been OV on CD11 for the last few months and this time around there isn't even a faint line appearing yet. Oh well, at least the 2WW will be much shorter this time around!

Welcome back Cedrickerry, sorry your holiday didn't go well, but at least you have the BDing and 2WW to look forward to now that you are back!! x
  • MadMac you'll probably find if you OV later then your AF will be later too. I used to OV on CD 19 and AF wouldn't turn up till 14 days later on CD33. Lately I've OVing on CD 14 and AF has turned up on CD28. Usually it appears 14 days after OV. Good luck to you, there is nothing worse than OH being away from home at the crucial time.

Congrats to Fattybooboo and Nikabilla. Sticky beans for you both. :T
No news here as I'm only on CD20, 6 DPO so won't be symptom spotting for another few days. :D

    Hi Madmac,

What Scottishchick says is true, my GP said to me although ov may vary each cycle your luteal phase will almost always be the same. Mine is 12 days so If I ov on cd18 cycle will be 30 days, if ov on cd22 then cycle will be 34 days.

    Hi
I wonder if anyone knows whether it's better to BD every day or every other day during the fertile period?
Have been trying every other day and have not been successful yet. Have been trying about 5 months.
    Thanks
