Oy!! I don't know about him (*sniffs*) but I'm a nice person.
And frankly, we were quite restrained. As I recall, it was you who introduced waists and (dare I say it) ... thighs. And then you went on to introduce BUNKS. And still you claim that it is we who are displaying inappropriate behaviour.
I don't know what school you went to but, at mine, we didn't have waists. Or thighs. Or, most importantly, anything in between. It was all a mystery. And so it has remained.Information is not knowledge.

erm ... are you sure you want to say that? Please, for your sake, retract that before it gets seized upon .. if you get my gist!:wave:0 -

I know I'm going to regret this but, what the hey.
I haven't been seized upon for a while now. Surely, if I retract, won't my chances diminish even further?Information is not knowledge.

Anyway, it's all Loopy Girl's fault. She's got a waist and thighs and things. She introduced them into all this. After that, I just got confused. Easily done.

Sorry to break up the party but to get back on topic for a minute... I think the hardest thing is when you feel you have been treated shoddily by your ex (of whichever gender!) it is really difficult to cope with a child that you've done your very best for, appearing to value the 'other' parent as much or even more. It feels like a betrayal. The only comfort I might offer is it is in YOUR best interests to accept that if you've done your best and it's NOT valued then so be it, and it will probably, and hopefully rapidly become apparent to any offspring who is REALLY there for them and who deserves to be given loyalty and consideration. I'm not for a minute suggesting a 'missing' parent is to be painted black or attempts made to cut them out of the picture but in reality, if you haven't been there, given all you have to give and then STILL feel kicked in the teeth, it is really hard to understand this situation. I wish you lots of luck and lots of love and try really hard to now live YOUR life else you'll go mad. xx:o0

Flossy - you have 100% hit the nail on the head. I so feel betrayed and it hurts like hell. I have been the best Mam I could have been and it's not valued by my daughter or my ex (who left me for someone else when she was a teeny baby, divorced then moved 150 miles away to live with another woman and her family!)
But I am trying to focus on the positives in that when I so see her at weekends we can have some quality time together and not having to nag her to get of the phone at midnight or move week old dishes out her room will be great!!It all works out good in the end.If it's not good, it's not the end!0
