I think that this thread is a great idea!!!
I know that the world is being turned upside down but I think that positive thinking is the best thing we can do at the mo especially over these things that we cannot control...

    Here are my positive thoughts:
    • Both my girlfriend and I have full time jobs in the public sector so our jobs are as safe as they can be
    • We are both in good health and have a good budget that we are still sticking too
    • We recently moved into a new new flat (rental) and hope that when this financial storm blows over that we will actually be able to afford a flat in London! ;)
    • We are getting our Icesave savings back
    • Most of my debts are to family and so they are not as affected as if they were with banks or credit cards
    • The current problems in the economy is making me want to payoff my debts sooner rather than later
And I'd like to say thanks to all of the positive MSE posters who have helped reassure and inform their fellow posters about what's going on in this very uncertain times. I have found this forum even more useful than usual over the last week or so! :T
