    We're all part of history.

When our grandchildren are writing economics essays about the banking crisis of 08, we can say we were there!

That is a pretty useful way of looking at it.

yes, with the people who have never worked a day in their lives still living in their housing benefit home with their giros, oblivious to everything. Whereas the people who have worked all their lives might lose everything and be in a worst position then the so-called "job-seekers" Positive? tell your children to not bother to make an effort in life!

    • Despite difficult times, we have the ability to ignore negative posters who just seek to wind others up (this being the whole point of this thread).

I'm really happy for you that you have succeeded in your aims of winding someone (ie yourself) up - that's a positive thing at least!

Sorry. Looking on the positive side. If Halifax don't lose my bonded house money and house prices continue to fall - I can buy myself a nicer house (so I have a positive in there somewhere)

Apology accepted - The aim of the thread is just to try and get people to share some positives during these horrid times. There is so much negative talk elsewhere on the threads and many unnecessary rumours which just don't help..
