  • Thanks guys, it been a long time to be able to get to this for us.

We are only having a small wedding to keep the costs reasonable, but it will be quality.
  • Just think there are millions of people out there, going about their lives blissfully unaware that any of this is going on. Who is the smarter, them or us. Maybe we should all put this "crisis" into perspective and look at what we have.

Well said, I am guilty of that.

To concerned with only having xxxxx thousands when half the palnet has !!!! all.

maybe i should remember this when i think i am not doing so well.

    - Oil prices are back to where they were roughly a year ago (now all we need is petrol prices to get back there too - another 10p-15p off a litre... not likely...)
  • And here's some great news for anyone who has lost thousands on the stockmarket.

If you've lost money in say HBOS, by next Friday you will be able to dip your hand in your pocket and buy the entire company with your loose change.:j

    • Lots of lovely bargains are available in the shops during hard times. Since there are so many questions about where to save at the moment, maybe I'll spend some of my cash :j

The price of gas and electricity is linked to the price of oil, so those nice utility companies will slash prices before winter sets in!
