i have just sent this

hi i subscribed to zing around june 2005 i have not yet received my copy of issue 4, after reading on mse.com most of the vouchers will now be out of date i would like a refund and would like to cancel the subscription.

i paid via debit card but i accept cheques.

i also think that whom ever sent to me, asking to recommend a friend had a cheek as i would not be recommending any of my family or friends to part with £15 and get nothing in return and have forwarded the card sent with a covering letter to watchdog.

Finally got a reply, although not really worth it as they seem to think its still last year, or i have a long wait til the next issue (no change there then)


"Thank you for your letter. Issue 5 should be delivered through your
letterbox on the 19th of December in time for great Christmas savings. We
do apologize that you missed your last issue.

We have every intention of getting the magazine out to you on a monthly
basis but as with all new magazines, we have been experiencing some
teething problems. As a result we go by issue numbers, which means that
your subscription won't run out until you have received 12 issues through
your letterbox!

Once again, sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused and I hope
you continue to enjoy Zing!
We can offer You one extra issue. Which means that you will receive one
extra issue for free. We will do everything we can to deliver every
issue of our magazine on time.

I have definitely had the middle paragraph, and bits of the first in emails from them. At least you are going to get an extra issue from them. Make sure that you keep the email that they sent you offering you the extra issue. I have had three issues since I subscribed, at this rate, my subscription will go on for nearly 2 more years!

Their website still says the next issue is 19th Dec.

I still haven't received the latest issue either. Actually, It's probably a good thing as I wouldn't have used all the vouchers up before the end of December anyway and this way I have a legitimate complaint.

If the mag ever shows up! :rolleyes:

No zing for me either. I've emailed complaining and asking for my money back. No reply yet!
