    Thats why I have been charged then. I knew that they were not the cheapest since taking over alliance and leicester (who i originally held the card with) but 29% is disgusting. I am going to pay my card off asap and cut it up!

    Barclaycard are doing a 0% for 14 months and Capital One are doing 0% until Feb 2010 onbalance transfers both with a 3% fee if it's any help?

  • im thinking of going with mbna as they can take on my overdraft in my current account. Has anyone else done this? Was going to go with Egg Money card but because my computer crashed half way through the application process, they cant do anything as they say it is my fault it crashed!

    I have been with MBNA for a few years now and find them brilliant. Always being offered promotional rates and got a free music system from them recently.

  • CREDIT CARDS , the poor mans feel good factor in my book, been there had the lot no thanks , lets face it a credit card is for something you cant afford nothing to do with budgeting well i have one which is prepaid and loaded just before i leave for a holliday abroad , its a debit card for me or cash its the only way for you to keep financially healthy owe no one nowt.
