Where Are You Transferring Your IceSave ISA's To?

When you mentioned it before I thought that #3 sounded suspiciously like the FSCS certificate.
I guess that it's just on their checklist of things they have to have received before the account is fully open. Just someone hasn't thought about where it originates from?!
Yes possibly. The young lady I saw in the branch actually printed a copy of it out for me though.
I visited the branch again this morning to try and get it all set up, only to be told that I'll need to make an appointment - grrrrr!Stompa0 -

Are you sure it still exists? I don't see any mention of it on their website.....Stompa0 -
I got my certificate in the post today and I'm transferring to a 1 year fixed rate with the Kent Reliance Building Society. They have nice and straightforward Icesave specific application forms available on their web site so hopefully everything should go nice and smoothly. Apart from Scottish Widows they are the only organisation I can find that specifically mention Icesave.0

ok,just recd my FSCS cert and now must decide on which iSA....had almost decided on std life but their rates have dropped!! 4.6% to 3.85%!!
scottish widows seem to have a bad reputation...has left me with the following choices: (I'd want it in a bank rather than a BS for my own reasons)
A&L 4.5%
Abbey 4% (4.5% but with strings attached)
Halifax 4% (fixed)
does anyone know if Abbey and A&L are due to drop their rates soon or have they done this already??
am going away on holiday soon so want to get it sorted. help pls!!0 -
The Kent Reliance account I'm opening is 4.5% fixed for a year.0

Didn't realise they had specific 'Icesave' forms so have completed the normal application form along with the transfer form and sent it off with a cheque and the certificate.0

I didn't see them at first either; they have a graphic of a television on their homepage which shows various different links, one of them being the Icesave link. It's bad design, a case of having flash graphics for the sake of it not because it makes things easier to navigate. Luckily, as the account is operated by post, I won't have to look at their website anymore0

Cheers for posting link to KentReliance ISA pages. Have read and discovered that there is 100 days loss of interest if you take money out of your account! Just thinking that in this climate, we're more likely than not to dip into these savings...just a thought.
Been put off Scottish Widows...has anyone tried NatWest?0
