Welcome billybobberyl (will shorten you to bbb for future if you don't mind?!)
You've read all of this thread - wow! That's even more impressive than listing!!
Good luck with your challenge. They are a lovely bunch here and very motivating.
Soolin, I knwo exactly how you are feeling as I hate TB. I keep on getting a close down error. So I have to go back in and retype anything that didn't get saved. I haven't checked the 50 that I have added and now you have worried me that they may not all be there. Will do that later. In the meantime to keep the blood pressure down I am going to do some hoovering and feeding of children....

question for the experts amongst you... which day of the week and which end of listing time do you think gives you the best outcome?
i think a friday listing for 10 days might be good and a sunday listing for a week might be good.
i would be interested in knowing what is best time to list and to end.
i cant get over the whole ebay thing... to think that there are mililons of items on there and someone some how finds my little itty bits and bids on them is amazing! long may it continue!

thanks for the welcome, bbb is fine, its my fault for having such a silly user name lol!
I too cant believe that people bid on stuff, especially stuff that i have been hoarding in cupboards etc!
But i guess its cheaper than buyiong them new and people know that.
I have a toddler so its good cos he grows ot of clothes and toys everyfew months so have a continuous turnaround of listings!
I sold one of his old toys for £19.99 BIN only put it on at that to see and it sold within 2 hours!!SAHM getting organised 2010.

evening,
Of the stuff I listedlast weekend, I have one bidder but most of them have at least one watch so I'm *hoping* for last minute bidders.
I must list a couple of things on buy it now before the end of the weekend... I keep putting it off :S0 -

goin to keep goin with the turbo list and maybe get a few more uploaded 2moro when i get back from work
floxxie & soolin - what do you mean when you say stuff about using TL and auctiva 2gether? i have been listed my items as normal through TL,and have merely just registered with auctiva, but somehow my extra pics have been added to each of my listings as well as the little window scroll thingy showing my other items - i have no idea how it happened!
keep on listing! lets see who can list the most by monday lol!! more than likely i will come last lol!!!0 -
Hello everybody,
Hope you have all been busy listing or getting them ready?
I have and slowly but surely I am getting my motivation back so while it is around I am going to continue tonight. Not sure how many I have on as I have two accounts. It's not a huge amount but the work involved has been and I have had so many questions from potential buyers.
Have also been listing on Amazon and GreenMet. Managed to sell a DVD a few minutes after listing. Really pleased as it has given me £1.86 (have to take postage out though) but this is compared to the 30p MusicMa*pie were offering.
Have got my living room full of stuff and have promised myself I shall not go in search of other things to eBay until everything requiring listing in the room is listed. Hope by the end of the week that will be completed.
cc, Soolin and I were trying to find out if listing on Auctiva and listing on TL and putting them onto eBay works or if it starts crashign or missing photos etc.
Will pop by tomorrow evening to see how everybody else is doing.
