Hope you've got a long list for OH to do! Does he normally work away for that long? And there's me complaining about OH being away for a night :rotfl:

Little one has just gone to sleep so have added nothing to eBay. Thank goodness the weekend is coming up and I shall have a decent chance of getting some volume listing done.

Will pop by tomorrow before the forums close. I'm looking for lots of motivation for the weekend! ;)

anyway the police are just away so now I am getting ready for work!

still only have 13 items on no bids and only 2 have watchers! everything I am listing is at 99p and I will keep relisting until it sells!!

I just remembered why I gave up on Turbo lister last time, I've been listing since 6.30 am and I got one of those Windows warning 'fatal error' thingy about TL. It closed itself down and when I reopened it I had lost eveything I have spent the morning doing, in fact there are no listings more recent that about 3 days ago when I downloaded it and installed all the current listings.

    Arghhhhhhh

Would it work if you saved as you go along? I had that happen once but only lost the one item I was working on. How frustrating!

These were all saved and had been moved to the 'upload' folder ready to go this evening.

I've just rebooted and tried again and this time it is very very glitchy, I redid three listings but when I went to check them they all showed no postage payable. I added postage, clicked save and postage disappeared again.

Just rebooted and those three listings have now disappeared completely as have allmy templates and back up restore thingy doesn't have them either.

I'm beginning to think I was too quick to believe I could run both Auctiva and TL.

This is why I deleted TL before, it closed down with almost 1000 listings on it and even doing a full restore only gave me back a few of them.

What a waste of a morning.

EDIT : Later: Now I am getting past cross. Have rebooted for third time, backed up stuff again even though Turbo lister say there is nothing new to back up, got the error message, TL closed down and I've lost all the stuff that I have just relisted.

Decided to give up with TL and go back to Auctiva only to continually get this message:

We apologize for the inconvenience. Due to the high volume of requests at this time, your request took longer than expected to process. Please retry your request again. If you continue to receive this error, please contact technical support referencing ID# 100c69e3-8ecc-472f-b8cc-eb5e01a5abaa. Thank you.

So how on earth can I list anything now.

Well 3 things sold last night, lots unsold but I will relist tonight. I will keep going, books & magazines, I have lots & lots!!! Hubby is happy at last if I manage to clear some room in the attic, so fingers crossed. This thread is really helping me keep focused & I am listing 10 items a day.
    Off to do some wrapping!!

  • hi i have spent the last few days reading all of this thread! i too am obsessed with ebay and mse!!
I am on the £5 a day challenge and so ebay has been helping there but thought id join here too to motivate me to list a bit more. In fact whilst reading i now have 32 items listed, and posted 6 yesterday and sold another 4 this morning!
Starting nearly all at 99p as its just rubbish taking up room in my shed! And we are starting an allotment so need the shed for storage of healthy veg not old toys and clothes!
Thank you all for inspiring me to do more than 2 items a day, am setting myself a challenge of from 2moro to make £200 by july 21st ( my sons 2nd bday) and as we are away for 2 weeks in may! am hoping but can only try.
Am loving the free list for 99p its so easy if unsold now just to relist until it goes!
Have 1 listing finishing today but wont count any til saturdays listings end.
    Sorry for the essay!
