  • Right, did 6 today, uploaded 10, that's the last of it til Dec 29th for me.
Am also cutting back to 2 a day. It just takes too long otherwise.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

    Wow GR,

I'm jealous. I haven't managed to do anything..I feel so poorly. OH and 2 children are ill as well. I am trying to get some listings ready but confused - if I start them tomorrow night (Thurs) for 3 days, will they finish Sunday night? (don't laugh please..can't even work out how to set the DVD recorder tonight)

  • Aww, sorry to hear you're not feeling well.
So far I've got away just with a constant minor cold (think I'm allergic to winter ;) )
Yeah, a 3 day auction starting Thursday will end on Sunday :)

Mmm well still feeling awful; bug has knocked me for six although having to think about doing eBay might have something to do with it!!

Quick question: do you think it is too late to put some items on for a three day auction tonight/tomorrow? I'm away from Sunday 14th and most of them are collect only.

Your thoughts (those that are still eBaying at this time of the year!)

GR, what are you going to be selling from the 29th December? I was wondering whetehr to leave it until Feb but I guess I am missing out on quite a bit of selling time. Just concerned that I am going to be competing with the unwanted gifts.

I don't think it's too late. But state on your listing it will needed to be collected before 14th December.
  • Nah I don't think it's too late... but as Sharon87 says, make sure the buyer knows they've got to collect by the 14th!

I'm going to be selling clothes... but come to think of it, with the January sales and that... not sure if it'll be worth it...

Thanks, am going to list them either tonight or tomorrow. I've been trying to think what would/wouldn't sell on eBay at present and then realised unless it is on there, then it won't be sold at all

How is everybody else getting on? I mentioned in a post somewhere that I had joined the 'pay off £20k by Xmas 2009'. This challenge started on 1 Dec but I shall make a real start on it on the 1st Jan with eBay.

So on that note I am shall get these final listings sorted and then I am going to pack away all the eBay things (well reorganise the eBay room) and once that is done, I am going to get my Chrimbo decorations out....ummm, and then get organised for the hols as well as do my Xmas shopping.....

  • Hi all,

Hope you're all doing well? I listed 21 items last weekend... only 5 have bids on, which is a bit disappointing. Still there's over 24 hours left on them so maybe some more bids will roll in towards the end. On the bright side - I will be getting rid of 5 more bits of clutter! Can't be bad.

Im a nightmare with ebay too! i get so lazy when it comes to posting and wrapping! But i have tons of clothes that ive bought and never wore or wore once and dont like anymore! I have litrelly a whole bag full of clothes mostly new bits.

So ill opt in for the challenge id say set me for 2 items a day until 20th december so i have some extra money for presents.

    Thanks xx
