As long as your item hasn't got any bids on it you can add BIN to the listing. It used to charge you a few pence for adding it, not sure if it still does after the fee changes. It still runs with auction, but with the BIN option as well. As soon as the first bid is then placed, the BIN disappears. Just click on 'revise your item' and it should let you add it in the section with price, duration etc.0 -
Thanks panda
Another question, (I haven't ebayed in a while) if your item doesn't sell, how much does it cost to re-list and can you re-list indefinitely?0 -

I've got an Ebay shop and rarely use auctions so rules are different for me, but I think you get the basic listing fee refunded if you re-list as long as the item sells the second time. You can relist as many times as you like but you've got to keep paying the fees for it.0 -
I have 7 items ending today, 2 have bids on the & 1 is being watched.
definatley have to relist them, will probably drop the price, i feel like i have detached myself from theses items, they need GO!

Its mainly DVD's and books to be honest. Have about another 20ish books to list. Not too sure whether to do this on ebay or try Amazon or something. Any suggestions?
I also have a few un-worn tops (still with labels) and some un-opened 'smelly' Next gift sets. Can I list these too?
Sorry a real beginner at all this! Lol
Linz xoxoxIts hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........
People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!0 -
Hi Too Much Debt - the game was brand new - still in cellophane - and we were given it free so was really pleased!! Shopaholic - I had to withdraw the item from auction because it had a bid, and then relist it as a BIN - can't really remember what I did but it was straightforward.Mammy to 3 gorgeous children.0

Hi - I have had a couple of hectic days and am behind.
However, I do have a lady coming to buy some magazines from me. I previously listed one on ebay, and she turned out to be in the same town.
So, I have sold 4, and will list the others tonight. I will wait to take and upload the photos tomorrow when the light is better. Have 9 magazines to list.
I am enjoying having company with this challenge - I would have given up by now otherwise.
Cheers, LHB0 -
Well done LHB!
Have just been reading up on the eBay board. Firstly apparently if you are caught up in the Paypal requirement about them keeping your money for 21 days etc., you can refund your buyer 3p and the money will then be released. (Don't know how true this is but worth a go)
From Jan 2009, you have to offer free P&P when selling DVDs so we had better have a DVD selling week before then!
My PC is not completely fixed - it needs a new graphics card apparently but I can use it (as long as I can cope with the black screens that appear every 5 seconds) so am going to have something to eat and then play catch up. Thank goodness I don't have any visitors tomorrow so if I'm nice to OH he might even look after the kids for the day and let me get on with listing.
If anybody is having problems with eBay etc, definitely pop over to the eBay etc. (especially for details on the bits I mentioned above).
P.S. For those who are in hiding, come out and rejoin the challenge. Most of us are behind but that doesn't matter! The success that people are having (even if it is one item sold) is keeping me going. Thank you.
