My name is Jayne and I am becoming an ebay addict:D

Just thought I'd get that over with. Been a week now since I found and joined this thread and I have just hit £100:jin sales. Still got some listed and need to get some more on there to keep it up.

One question how long do you leave for non payers before reporting it?

Well done Jayne! Great amount for the week! :T

I'm probably a bit too trusting and understanding really, I tend to send them an email after 4-5 days, then if I don't hear anything back from that after 7 days I'd look to report it. It's never got that far for me though, the reminder usually gets the payment.

I know of people though that will report non payment after 2/3 days. Might depend on the level of addction :D

Welcome Jane and well done on your first week!

Rainy I like your new target and how you are balancing it. Have you got any books or CDs/DVDs that you could sell in other places?

yukkibear - let me know if you find out how you find more time!

I can't wait until I can say that I will be running out of stuff :rotfl:must try harder to get there soon.

A buyer has 7 days in which to pay, you can't do any reporting or start any NPB claims until a full week after auction ends.It is best not to get too worried about slow payers, just concentrate on getting more listed. If on about day 5 or so you remember you can always send another invoice with a note saying 'in case the original one did not arrive' something polite like that.

Only after 7 days can you open an NPB and even then buyer has another 8 days in which to pay.

On ebay patience sometimes needs to be a virtue.

    Hi
I am trying to do 5 items on Tues, Thurs and Sun for 3 5 and 7 day auctions.
Working full time, so list when OH is watching the soaps. Just listed my 5 for today - old concert tickets that were in a drawer - these have been going very well, ranging from 99p (Bryan Adams) to £17.00 (Michael Jackson). Have just paid for holiday (8 weeks to go) and now ebay money will go towards spending money. Front room is a tip with piles of stuff for ebay and car boot. OH complains, but I don't care - rest of the house is tidy!!!

(i know i still have bubble wrap for other items) do you guys use any boxes you can find? no matter how big? or whats on them?

I keep boxes and bubble wrap from everything I also get all my family and some friends to keep any they get too. Sometimes I find someone on Freecycle giving away bubble wrap so I get that.

We get a lot of boxes at work so I bring home empties all the time. Local shops will be happy to give you theirs if you ask nicely as they would have to pay to have them recycled or send them to the tip which is never good

Shoe boxes always come in handy

I just listed something on eBay, and it's gone all weird. Haven't listed in a while, and it all looks different, and what happened to the visitor counters?
