    Hi guys,

Nothing like being awakard but i use both auctiva and TL (although i won't say too much since i still don't think mine is working)! I mainly use turbo lister to store old listings so they are not lost - ebay take them off their system after 90 days i believe.

It's been a real real struggle today but i have managed my 10 new listings for today plus.....wait for it

5 extras :T and 20 relists taking my total to 35 and i guess it was worth it beacuse i've got one bid already and i'm quite happy with myself (at one point i was really low today and it was looking unlikely i'd do anything)

Plus i can offically say that's my lot for the week (apart from finding a post office on tuesday), i am not even going to think about attempting to list anything else, i am going away tomorrow and not coming back until at least saturday!

I will still be checking out my my fave MSE threads though so don't think your gonna be rid of me completly!

I hope everyone else has managed to make some progress towards their own personal listing goals today despite the amazing weather, and if not well then there's still time - hop to it!

Thanks _sleepless_. The message I now think was because I have sold 3 Yves Saint Laurent products in the last few days and they watching out for counterfeit goods so Ive been barred from using it!!!! Message says there are seller limits. Not sure if that only applies if i try to sell more YSL goods or whether its just a complete barring for 30 days. Its totally upfront items. Just lots of unwanted gifts that are new and Im trying to sell. Must read the small print!

Sunshine there are limits to how many designer items you can list within a certain timeframe - it's aimed at reducing fakes - you can list other non desinger items to build up your feedback, but no more YSL for the timebeing...sorry

It happens when you are a newish seller, once you build up good feedback and dsr's your limits should be raised. Also having a verified paypal account will help.

When you list make sure you do not go back and revise/edit the listings in any way this will count as a new item.

    Business sellers have higher limits

I got 10 new items listed yesterday. Had a weird message with a few of them that firearms weren't allowed to be listed but i'm guessing that's on other peoples listings too as I didn't list anything close to firearms lol.

Going to have a few days break and try again at the end of the week when I have some time off.
  • Hi everyone

Pop in and off the site now and again haven't posted for ages.

Anyway, had that sleepless worrying about debt night on Friday night and know that I am doing lots of things to get myself out of this mess but felt like I should be doing more. have sold a few bits and bobs over the years on e-bay but decided after reading this forum at 2.30am (!) on Friday night/ sat morning I would make an extra effort to get rid of stuff and not just clothes.

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss this (apologies if not) but I am chuffed as I currently have some quite strange things (an electric toothbrush, unused obviously already bidded for, perfume, a topshop hairclip i found amongst a pile of stuff that has 7 watchers! Have a day off tomorrow too so will be listing stuff that I get to sort out today.

I'm a bit late for the May challenge but am challenging myself to really concentrate on this for a while .So I just wanted to say a big thanks :T for threads like this which give inspiration and some hope and options in the middle of the night:A. Must stop playing that violin and get on with sorting out stuff in the spare bedroom!

    Good luck to all x

Welcome and thank you for your compliments on our thread. We have a great bunch of people on here and they have all proved that you can sell successfully on eBay and help towards clearing debts! Also consider Amazon and GreenMetropolis for books etc. MusicMagpie takes your CDs and DVDs - haven't used this one myself though.

I am about to start on a serious listing marathon and I only have today to get things ready as I have to continue preparing for my essay tonight (unfortunately I haven't done the groundwork to write the damn thing so it is taking me a long time to sort my plan out).

Quite a few listings ended last night. Not sure how many sold but some did so that's all that matters.

Ok, now to get this new camera up and working.....

Is it just me or does everybody else keep having to have a quick peep at my auctions to see if I have any more bidders? Sad I know.
