Seems I'm not the only one who can't be bothered, then!

Looks like only 6 of my items are going to sell tonight... ho hum.

Well it seems a poor night all around, i don't feel as bad now since i did actually get my 5 a day done today!

    Summary:
    Weekly target 20/35 listed
    Weekly sales 13
Total items currently listed 40 (20 old free 99p relists)
Result: Fair (not on target i know but i've had a busy and depressing week)

Wasn't going to bother relisting anything @99p thats been on before but sold a couple tonight - one that went for £2.70 (previously not sold 3x @99p)

I'm sure start of the new week will bring us all re-newed motivation!

Good luck to anyone still waiting on auctions to end tonight

Thanks sleepless - keeping my fingers crossed that she pays as she only has 1 feedback
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Ended up selling 47% of this week's items (sounds better as a percentage... I sold a mere 7 items). Hope they all pay quickly so I can get them sent off early in the week.

I haven't listed anything on Amazon yet, sleepless. I should really sit down and try to understand how the fees work :/ I don't want to end up listing things and end up making less than what it costs to post them.

Well done to everyone this week. Jesa, that's a great result on the shoes!

The good thing with Amazon is that when you list an item it tells you how much you will receive after fees and postage credit, ie the net amount before you submit the listing.

  • hi all, havent listed anymore as visiting family in may so wont be here to post anything! still got 11 items on there hopefully will sell a few before thursday.
Bit annoyed, sold a baby swing and listed as collection only, lady who won lived 2 and a half hrs away so asked if she could send a courier to collect, looking back i should have said no but too late now! anyway took her 2 weeks to pay, organise courier, then i had to wait in all day for them to collect. Then she has gone and left me neg feedback cos i never told her it was unboxed or had no instructions. If it had those things i would have included it in my listing. I know she has a right to be unhappy but she has 0% feedback and i feel i went out of my way to help and now she has put my 100% down and i am gutted. Have messaged her to ask if she can change it cos maybe she doent realise the importance of a neg but think she is going to leave it. am so cross should have stuck to my guns and made her collect or just relist. grrr sorry just annoyed, i rely on ebay for getting rid of so much junk and making a few pennies.

  • Hi and good morning all!

Ive been feeling pretty smug as I sold another 9 cds on amazon this week, went to pack them and:eek::eek::eek: one of the cd cases has the wrong cd in.

What do I do?, the correct cd may be in the loft - or the storage unit - if its the storage unit, I cant get to it until Friday......

    Ill check the loft tonight.

    What do I do????

On a much better note - I have had a cheque from the HMRC over my tax credits nightmare - just over £6000....For the first time in years Im not scared about money. We will go on a holiday, and recarpet upstairs (we need to move, but our carpets are the rubbish that was put down when the house built, and our old dyson ate them. Bald patches everywhere!!).
The rest will go into the bank accounts that are overdrawn due to not gettting the tax credits!!

Hope youre all having a good listing day in the rain!

    oh billybob
i know exactly how u feel. i am quite new to ebay and really see it as a way to generate some much needed liquid cash. i got neg feedback last week cos the item was broken and i didnt realise. the buyer left horrid neg feedback and i too was gutted. the guys on here directed me to the place where the buyer can revise their feedback when you have managed to resolve an issue. i really wish people would communicate instead of just leaving flaming mad neg feedback.
loook back on this thread a page or two and you will see the link. if you fill it in and send to ur buyer then hopefully she will be kind and revise her feedback and you will get ur 100% back
    wishing u best of luck
