Oh no, poor mrscmr and billybobbery - buyers can be very pedantic sometimes, don't take it personally though! I agree mrscmr, it really is better when people just communicate, then it's always likely that the problem can be solved, rather than just leaving negative feedback!
I had a profitable weekend, made £75 on eBay from 10 items of clothing, and made £60 at a carboot sale so it's made my weekly total very healthy indeed.
I've been tying to sell a dress for ages though, it's from the Patricia Field Marks and Spencers range and it's the same dress that Carrie wears in the Sex and the City film. Bought it new for £85 (before I became a DFW) and have never worn it. Had it on eBay on a buy it now for about 4 weeks now, others are going on buy it nows for about £40 more than mine, but sadly i can't seem to find the right buyer
Hope I can shift it soon as I've got a hefty car repair bill for a new clutch heading my way.....joy!
Happy eBayng all xxxxJune NSD's - 5/25

Just packing up my weekend sales and wondering if the free 99p listing are worth it. 3 items sold at 99p and once you take into account final fees and paypal costs it doesn't leave much. Do you both with 99p listings or not?
Amazon - I've been reading the seller details and wanted to check if you have all brought new packaging? For ebay stuff I reuse padded envelopes because it is cheaper and more 'green'.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
managed 2 more listings so now have 30 items up. that will do for now, need a few days break lol!
Dustykitten I do a few 99p listings on items that are headed to recycling or charity shop just to try and get something for it. It's usually only 50p profit which is pretty rubbish but I need all the pennies I can get right now0 -
weill i do all my listings at 99p... perhaps its wrong to do that cos i sold a pair of shoes which cost 120 pounds for ... 99p gutted!
what is best way do you think? list at more than 99P?Highest Debt £581,000 Nov 08 and now owe nothing! yes really! I have learnt my lesson the hard way!

Bit annoyed, sold a baby swing and listed as collection only, lady who won lived 2 and a half hrs away so asked if she could send a courier to collect, looking back i should have said no but too late now! anyway took her 2 weeks to pay, organise courier, then i had to wait in all day for them to collect. Then she has gone and left me neg feedback cos i never told her it was unboxed or had no instructions. If it had those things i would have included it in my listing. I know she has a right to be unhappy but she has 0% feedback and i feel i went out of my way to help and now she has put my 100% down and i am gutted. Have messaged her to ask if she can change it cos maybe she doent realise the importance of a neg but think she is going to leave it. am so cross should have stuck to my guns and made her collect or just relist. grrr sorry just annoyed, i rely on ebay for getting rid of so much junk and making a few pennies.
Hi bbb,
You can leave a comment to your buyers feedback...something along the lines of 'very slow payer, complained about lack of box and instructions'
If you do need to use a courier, then check out the eBay board for suggestions. Companies such as Parcel2Go also offer cashback on Quidc* and TCB for your first order.
Have been busy wrapping and sending things today. Have sold items on GreenMet, Amazon and eBay which is great but the prices are low so the profit is pennies worth. Nevermind, thinking about the space it is clearing.
Have a good break!

Sorry to hear about the shoes - I'd be gutted. I've learnt to only start bidding at a price that I am ok about so if I don't want to sell something for less than £4.99 I'd start it at that. It is 15p to list upto £4.99 so I wonder if I'd be better to start somethings a bit higher to maximize profit - trouble is if they don't sell then it has cost you to list - difficult decision. I've never tried the reserve price thing but guess it is only worth it on high value items.
Going to try to do one item a day this week using turbolister as only have a few bits I want to put on this week. Think I'll relist a couple of 99p bits aswell. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
mrscmr and billybobbery publish these losers address & we will send round the moneysaving heavies to sort them out;):D
Sold 15 items yesterday:T i always feel i have done well, when its in double digits, it works out to be about £27 after fees etc.
Really weird though, because half the people have not paid, normally its 1 or two, that dont pay, well i have taken stuff to post office today & wont be making another trip to post office til friday, so they will have to wait, i reckon they dont get paid til end of month......:mad:0 -

bottom line......only list at 99p if you are happy for it to go for 99p
In my ebay experience the stuff i expect to make money one i dont
But the stuff i expect to go fo .99p i normally end up getting more for0 -

Longhotbath - that's great news about the tax credits refund!
Today I went into town to stock up on packaging... hopefully I'll have enough to last me a couple of months now.
Four buyers have paid for items but I am waiting until tomorrow to see if any more payment come in, then I can take everything to the P.O. at once. PLUS I hate the P.O. on a Monday as the queue is always sooooooo long!0
