I've got bids on half of the stuff I put on on Sunday. I have sorted out a couple of pairs of shoes which have only been worn a couple of times so think I'll list those ont he weekend. Have got my NCT stuff down from the loft to price up tomorrow and there is so much of it - think I'll have to do some as bundles and may still have more than my 50 allocated items.

For those selling shoes this old thread made me laugh at the time and is a real 'eye openner'

    Hi Guys,

Could anyone give me some tips on selling on Amazon? I have quite a few of my daughters old dvds that she dosent watch anymore (they are all ok). never used amazon before just ebay. any tips gratefully received!:D

Not having much luck with ebay this week, listed 10 items over 10 days. got 4 days to go and this week ive got no watchers and no bids! Im trying to see all my daughters clothes that she has grown out of, all in really good condition, all starting at 99p! I cant go any lower lol. any ideas on how I can maximise my listings peeps?? look forward to hearing ya thoughts! well done to all who have sold lotsa stuff so far!

There is a really helpful thread on Selling on Amazon on the ebay etc board. Will try and find the link for you.

There is a WANT IT NOW board on ebay where people ask for things - its not widely known or very well used but you can answer peoples requests with a link to your own listings, effectively matching your item with some elses "want/need". Thats providing someone wants what type of items you have listed. But I usually find something on there which relates to a couple of my listings. You can find the link just above the "my messages" link down the left of My Ebay page

Gggggrrrr, there's a new lady at my Post Office and even where I state quite clearly that I want 2nd class, she puts it through 1st class. Normally I pick up on but today I had two of my children running around and failed to notice. Needless to say, the I made £0 from my Amazon CD sale

Note to self: don't post items with children around and wait for another member of staff.

Not listed anything today yet as I have been out running. Once dinner is eaten I shall add some more CDs to Amazon.

On eBay I generally have a quick look at Want it Now but don't notify the potential buyer as previously they have tried to get a BIN price. I believe that if you have placed a 'wanted it now' you get sent an email if there are items related to your key words so if you don't look, don't worry!

jaspercoran i sell alot of clothes but it is diffcult to advise without seeing your listings

Well done to anyone that has got listings up today, i'm suffering from mid week lack of energy, tiredness, stress and generally not feeling that great today so i'm not listing tonight either - which i know won't help my mood!

I became a little too obsessed with the want it now board and don't frequent there too often now, after i found myself trawling shops to see if they had certain items, and endlessly searching posts to see if i had anything! Also i have previously posted but never received any matching responses

I'm tempted to check out amazon as i have loads of cd's i never listen too, but i've got so many clothes that i need to get rid of, i can't be getting sidetracked at the moment!

sleepless - I find myself more easily motivated to list on amazon as its so much easier and quicker. And then you can watch the sales pop through at any time while trying to get yourself round to listing on ebay.

Saying that I have not done either this evening :( naughty

I've just sold a Harry Potter DVD within 30 mins on Amazon, pleased with that. Will only make £2 though!
