Lexxx, to date I have made £89 from Amazon this month. Happy bunny. Wish eBay was on par! :rotfl:

i am using bookfinder.com right now... oh dear.... i might have to leave this alone again... bored of it right now.... i have the attention span of a gnat:p

£89 at amazon, well done:T no wonder you have no motivation to ebay.

Maybe its the season to buy books?

Ohh yes, I like that one as well....especially when I am buying books!

Will thankfully hit over £100 on eBay after today so for a while eBay will be bringing in more than Amazon.

I was trying to work out if it is a new term at university and therefore new subjects as my English and law books are selling.

If I'm listing on Amazon, I don't look at the bottom price anymore as I have been selling books that were on at a higher price than others. I think it is because I am a private seller rather than a 100000 feedback seller....well that's how I think anyway when I am buying. I also put non smoker/pet thing on and offer next day posting.

Go on Lexxx, dare you to put some on; if they don't sell you can always drop the price later.

  • Floxxie: ooh that's good that your books are selling, new term starts in a couple of weeks - and then it's exam time so maybe people are realising all the textbooks in the library will now be out to others and they need there own copies so are buying yours! Good times!

I'm super scared of Amazon... especially their fees. I haven't even got as far as registering yet. I have a few uni books (from my rather short stint there!) that I need rid of... might take the plunge one day :S

I have sold a couple more things, received a £7 postal order today. Really need to go to the PO but just can't be bothered..! In fact I can't be bothered to do anything... I don't even have anything listed atm.

Before I started on Amazon it looked really scary to me too but it isn't honest, you just fill in a couple of pages of information and you are good to go from what I remember
