My starter for ten is the person I saw who hadn't taken their denture out for two years.

Once I removed the tartar glueing it in and took the denture out I then spotted the tomato seed underneath which had germinated and sprouted two little sickly yellow-green leaves.

BC if you are making New Years resolutions maybe one might be to try to post on this thread without mentioning the figure £100,000. You really ,really have no idea how often we hear this utter rubbish spouted and it still annoys even if you temper it with an emoticon or the words "with greatest respect".

That actually is vile!!! I have a patient that regularly creates calculus on the fitting surface of theirs!! Its amazing the differences between individuals regarding their attitudes to perio disease. I have some that have been miraculous with their changes when they listen to advice (the biggest changes in those that switch to electric tooth brushes). Others I have seen literally every 3 months for 3 years and have zero improvements. All get the same OHI and management from me
