We love ours that arrive Christmas Eve from "The Pyjama Elves!".

They deliver them to start the winding down process to help get the little 2 off to bed.

They are delivered in the same "Elf" gift bags with the handmade (laminated) gift tags that are still going strong after 5 years.

    Our will contain new PJ's
    Slipper socks
    Bubble bath
    a DVD / Book
    & some yummy chocolates!

My oldest two are now 19 & 17 and I swear they look forward to the arrival more than the little two to see what the new Jimmy's are!

I dread the time when the little two aged 7 twig that our Dog never barks when the Elves knock at the door..............and the gift bags are already inside the hallway.

  • We are another family who are big fans of the Christmas Eve Hamper!!!
I always get my 2 new PJ’s as I always got new ones as a kid. My mum later told me it was so I looked nice in the photos!

By Christmas Eve I am usually burnt out anyway so whatever isn’t done by Christmas Eve Eve isn’t getting done. 24th of December is for me to enjoy with my DH and kids. We spend the day baking cookies/gingerbread men, playing board games and generally building up the excitement. We track Santa online, play Christmas music, do some crafting, indulge in our small family traditions and really enjoy the day. I bath the kids early and put on their new PJ’s then we all snuggle up to watch a good Christmas film. Once Santa hits Europe on his tracker the kids know it’s time for bed. Off they pop and we always have a new Christmas story for bed, although it is usually a couple of hours before they’re asleep due to excitement. I love the fact that they get so excited throughout the day; nothing can ever beat the level of excitement you feel as a child at Christmas! Once they are asleep it is time to bring in the presents from various hiding places and sneak their stockings into their rooms. I love it and can’t wait for it to come round!

Anyway, this years Christmas Eve Hamper will consist of:
    New PJ’s for all
New Christmas Story for bedtime (Night before Christmas this year)
    New Xmas quilt covers
    Magic Reindeer Food
    Slippers
    Mug and Snowman Soup
    Choc Bar
    Gingerbread House to decorate
Paper plates to decorate for Santa’s goodies
Bath Bombs for their Xmas bath
    Hot water bottles
Personal letter from Santa thanking them for being good and reminding them they need to be asleep for him to visit!

As we are getting a Christmas Elf for the first time this year I am thinking of having him deliver it. Might have to enrol the help of a neighbour to pop it on the doorstep with our Elf and ring the doorbell then run!

So excited now, can’t wait for Christmas and all the joy it brings xxx
    Just little old me!

Christmas books? They have a lovely little one online at m&s at the moment £1 but they have 50% off so 50p with free to collect from store. They also have other Christmas books with 50% off. For the older one how about some Christmas sticker/colouring book, new toothbrush, Christmas bubble bath/soap, reindeer food, santa key or Christmas soft toy?

For the baby a Christmas beaker or new Christmas themed MAM soother (if baby takes a soother), a Christmas rubber bath duck, my 1st Christmas bib or Christmas soft toy?

To give you an idea for my two kids-
DD (5) - Christmas book, sweets, Lindt chocolate, princess activity sticker book, pjs, slippers, Christmas bath bubble pouches, Santa torch (same as last year), Santa key (same every year), reindeer food, Christmas plate (we use every year) and some puzzles.

DS (2) - Christmas book, Lindt chocolate, sweeties, pjs, slippers, Christmas sticker book and some puzzles.
