Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Lush chocolate santa bath bomb looks lovely, and the star-shaped 'twinkle' is nice too.

In the shops in Roadchef service stations they are doing character fleece blankets and cushions, they are £6 each or both for £10. They had Peppa, Dora, Spiderman and some others.

I want to get a couple of lush bath bombs for my two boys, either for a Christmas eve hamper or for an advent one. I have looked at the lush website and haven't got a clue what to get:rotfl: i know a few of you have used these and was hoping for some recommendations!
btw there is free p&p on the lush website at the moment.

I used to work at Lush. I really miss the staff discount at this time of year! For children, I'd recommend Mr Butterball. Vanilla smell-very comforting and cozy. And treat yourself to a Jingle Spells (as long as you don't mind the bits in it! The stars get in some very interesting places!). It's lovely and supposed to be good when you're hungover. ;)
Trying my best not to spend a fortune on that site!

OOOH you lucky thing. Tell me, do the staff have to complete a "be nice to the customer course" or does the staff discount make you happy all by itself? I have NEVER met such lovely staff than those in lush stores. genuine niceness as well!

The smell does funny things to our brains! LOL! I used to love the majority of the customers we got. One or two rubbed me up the wrong way, but usually the customers were great and it was a fun job. I met some fantastic people working there. We're having our xmas reunion in a few weeks. 80s theme party! :j

Anyway, I'm doing my Grandma's christmas shopping to help her out and I'm planning on doing a 100% Christmas (may rename that, not sure yet...) for my mum on her behalf. I have the Snowman on DVD and I'm gonna buy some christmassy candles, but any other suggestions????

  • Ruth Honey I blame you..... Spent £35.00 in Lush today. I only went in for a little pot of Cosmetic Lad! Once again the girls, even the young trainee were lovely. I got the girls a "Supernova" for their xmas eve hamper. So exited!

BTW Last year "the snowman"was a double edition Raymond Briggs special with "Father Christmas". It was only a couple of quid, one of those they sell at the tills to tempt you. Good Luck

Ooops! I'm so sorry. If it's any consolation, I spent £15 on the Lush website. Bought the American Cream perfume and Let them eat cake lip balm, and 2 xmas ballistics. Might get some more bits once my brother lets me know his girlfriends faves. What branch did you go to, if you don't mind me asking?

It is the double Snowman/Father Christmas DVD that I bought. HMV website have it as their special-when you buy any other product, you can buy it for £3.99. Got one myself too. It's been years since I saw the Snowman. :T

I'm very tempted to go for a Yankee candle for my mum's hamper. They are soo yummy! Any ideas where to buy them as cheap as possible? Online or in 'real' shops. And what festive smells would you recommend?
