Sounds like things are going in the right direction now though?
Yes they are! There will always be days where I feel a bit 'off' with my MFi5 challenge, when I feel I'm not achievieving enough, so I need to think of remedies and strategies for these days! Any ideas anyone???
If I don't do something constructive I go off the rails! For example, on Sunday I booked flights for me and OH to go to Paris for a few days for his birthday! I don't know why I did this - I was not in my right mind! The flights for two return only cost £108, and I will wait and get a late deal on a hotel. I wouldn't normally have done this, the idea had never even occured to me before, but I suppose I did have to get him something for xmas and birthday, and I'm a French teacher, so its good for my accent  Poor excuses really! Now I've booked it though, so I'll just enjoy it :T.
My new free haircut is great, and much better than my mum cutting it! So I've got my new hairstyle and party clothes for £1 in the sale at work, and all the xmas presents are ready so feel very confident of a MS christmas (apart from a trip to Paris!).
Today I've got to- collect a prescription,
- do a (new) tutoring (£25 for OP pot)
- Plan tutoring for next week
- Plan lessons for next week

Hiya,
I think the key is to have little things along the way to enjoy yourself, it doesn't have to cost much or even anything but it would be a chance to relax or feel reenergised.
This weekend dh and I are going to run the race course that we are doing in Feb, not exactly relaxing but some time to spend together doing our shared interest.0 -
Ev you are brilliant I wish I were as motivated as you!
I know I have to spoil OH now and again so I'm just going to relax about it - especially as I got my new interest rate through on mortgage - 3.19%:j My repayments have reduced by about £200/month!
I have done a tutoring, and talked to a new client for next week (thats two most nights now). I've been having a bit of a tidy up, and am now heading off for an early night - tried to get up for swimming this morning at 6.30 but couldn't get my body to move!! Therefore I didn't go, and ate 3 cakes and a packet of chocolate buttonsso I MUST go tomorrow and do extra lengths!!
Off to my dads 60th tomorow evening, doing a delivery for our business on the way, and a collection on the way back, so its a good use of petrol!
Got a few MSE activities planned up north - hiking with my best friend and gabbing with my mum mostly!
Was reading in a thread (mentioned on Martins email) about a man who had 15 jobs! Makes my little extra jobs seem like nothing! Still it is adding up...

Expenditure
I've spent far too much on food this month £35 over budget- I can't resist a bargain, and my freezer is full to the brim! Atleast now I can't buy anymore as I can't fit it in! I will have to only buy essentials until December, and then in December continue to have a cheap month.
Still mad at myself for booking a trip to Paris  , but my parents have offered to pay for our hotel for our xmas present, so apart from a bit of spending money - perhaps provided by PIL? we shouldn't have to spend that much more!
My share of the meal for my fathers 60th came to £40, so not too bad really.
Income
Tutoring this week most nights, as well as breakfast club, lunch duty and two shifts in Supermarket, so doing all I can do here really:T . I could up my income by promoting my tutoring site more, but I can't really fit in many more customers!
Savings
Planning on NSD's until Friday when I'll get milk and fruit.
Other
Watched a program last night about one of the dragons, and how he took risks to make his fortune. I am not a great fan, but it did remind me how I am never going to get rich working as a teacher!. IMHO getting rich is NOT the be all and end all, but if I'm going to be working flat out all the time, some financial security would be a good reward!
I've decided to redouble my efforts to make our business successful, and keep my eyes and ears open for investment/ business opportunities for when we have no mortgage!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Another wee update to keep me focused and on track!
Expenditure
Got a few things to buy today - determined to only buy the essentials on the list. I will get a pasta salad and sandwich with my lunch allowance so I don't have to buy any food for tea later on.
I have really got out of the habit of cooking properly. I have just been flinging ready prepared dishes into the cooker. The extent of my actual cooking this week is frying some mince! I am so out of the habit that last night we stopped for fish and chipsrather than me cook something.
So this weekend I will try to find time to go through my freezer/cupboards and put a proper plan together of what food we will eat during the week - and my challenge for the weekend is NOT getting a takeaway - I am so lazy!
Income
Completed 5 tutorings this week - two had to postpone. Doing 5hrs in supermarket tonight, and 5 hours tomorrow even though I don't feel like it - got a horrible cold!
Other
I have been spending too much time thinking about / doing school work or tutoring, and I want to spend the weekend doing work for our small business.
I will try to fit in a bit of cleaning and a trip to the allotment as well, but they are not the priority.

With the freezer full, is there chance to bulk cook a few things to get you back in the home cooking mode, but having the meals frozen for the weekdays? There are only 24hrs in a day and we have limited time outside work (let alone doing the business and a job like you are doing) so try to plan your meal arrangements and don't be too hard on yourself; if not cooking has allowed you to progress the business then that is a positive way to look at it.0 -
Did some cooking at the weekend and didn't get a takeaway!
Had a really productive weekend in terms of marketing planning for the business and progressing with the website updates. House didn't get cleaned but so what?!
Finding that prioritising in this way means I feel better and am less hard on myself!
