Thanks SGMC - I thought i'd cured myself but I had a really bad night last night not even a minute of sleep! feel dreadful today.

Anyway, money saving is going well. I can't wait until I have paid off my mortgage and perhaps go part time so that I can relax a bit more!

Toying with the idea of going back to work in the supermarket at christmas to keep my share save alive, so that should be a big boost to my OPs.

In the next few days got to:
    Reorganise new mortgage deal
    pay car tax
    Plan tutorings for the week

One tutoring tonight and as I said I feel exhausted so think i'll just clean the house and try to keep myself awake till 10!

Oh I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight, I have been really run down whilst baby has not being sleeping well so your health can easily be affected. Do you have a routine before you go to bed to start to relax and switch off, maybe try having a bath, then read a book whilst in bed.

    Thinking of you x

 Not sleeping is a pile of poop.gif

I never sleep well but sometimes (& this is one of them) I feel I literally get no sleep. What herbal remedies have you tried (I can understand you not wanting to take 'proper' drugs. I find Nytol One a Night helps - I still wake up a lot during the night but I either go back to sleep or lie there resting as opposed to normal when I toss & turn & probably wake myself up even more .

Am being nosey now so tell me to butt out - but are you not sleeping because you are down & tearful, or are you down & tearful because you're not sleeping? At it's worst I can wander about in a hungover/shaky/disoriented state so don't under estimate the effect not sleeping can have on you. But the remedy for the 2 things is very different so you need to know in your own mind what is causing what.

If not, bearing in mind yawning is catching, hope this helps:

    Oh Thanks lovely folks!

I think the lack of sleep was making me feel down. It went on far far too long and I ended up feeling really unwell and unable to function. I was not sleeping, coming home, crying feeling so rubbish and not able to muster any energy, and then going to bed and worrying. It was going on for two or three nghts in a row.

I tried the sleeping tablets and take two a week only on nights I normally don't get much sleep (e.g. after a stressful day) and I feel SO much better. I am happier with more energy and I am getting more done so I have less to worry about!

I hope my boss will be back at work soon - I just want to do my normal job again!

Anyway I made my March overpayment of £1000, and I have £250 of my April payment saved!

I have planted my potatos, courgettes, tomatos, corn and salad. I am going to put up my poly green house thing at the weekend, and I want to try to be self sufficient with fruit and veg this summer. This should save me about £10 a week!

I need to do exercise and eat less fatty food I am a complete slob at the moment, so am going to make a big effort with this next week!

    So the plan is:
    Today
    Get tutoring ready
Get ready for return to school after Easter (lessons planned, work for portfolio)
    Take seedlings home
Two tutorings (£50 for OP pot)
    Work on small business

    Tomorrow
    Exercise
    Work on small business

I love reading all your diaries so am off for a noisy!

    Glad you feel better earthgirl!

Well done on the March OP and the 'head start' with April's.

Sounds like you've been busy in the garden!
