  • Not sure if this has been posted but their dentist plan failed earlier in the year too.
Property millionaires Fergus and Judith Wilson have abandoned their plans to set up a national chain of 24-hour private dental clinics near motorway junctions.

They were probably only going to set the dentist business up to rob people of their gold teeth.

At these times when it is all going t1ts up I really do think this is fkn hillarious. I remember seeing the programme about these two greed driven scum bags and it is poetic justice. I hope they read this web site and cry. PS good luck to the folk who want to buy their properties...... and remember hit them to the floor on price or walk away as you well know there will be more available next week. :T
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

He admits buy to let is dead.
Although it's not. It's just his own over-stretched property empire that's dead.

He's a myopic self-centred prat to the end. Alternatively:-

"I have got other fish to fry"

So now he's expecting to just walk into a job at McDonalds?
  • They may have been foolish, they may have been greedy. They may go bankrupt but, it will have been for a more honourable reason than most bankrupts who feasted out on mobile phone, big tellies and cars that they couldn't afford - only to walk away and leave their creditors with nothing.

On the basis he relished the meeeja attention in declaring his wealth and his race horse world, do you really think his reason was anymore honorable?

The other question to raise is how did he treat people throughout the process? Were his actions honorable there? I suspect most people who went out and bought their TV have never caused upset of the like directly.
  • The only real regret is that they can go bankrupt and walk away.
And these days being bankrupt isn't the end of your world.

It will be for people like this who court the "celebrity" of being rich with their big house, expensive cars and race horses.

They define themselves by their supposed wealth, they think it makes them "better" or "more successful" than others (hence the need to go on telly and tell everyone, you don't see genuinely wealthy people doing this).

Going bankrupt probably would be the very worst thig that could happen to them, they'd have to shift their personal perspectives of themselves so far that it would really hurt.

Remember that guy who shot his wife and his daughter before ending his own life because he was about to lose all his "wealth" and status in the community as a big shot? That demonstrates just how massively some people define themselves by their wealth.

In a much smaller way it is also why some (many) people have considered it a good idea to take wealth they have aquired the only way, by their property increasing in value, MEWing it to then buy a brand new expensive car or 4x4. They're actually making themselves much poorer if you think about it (the exact opposite of what they're trying to show to everybody) by having to pay interest and repayments on the MEW and by losing a massive amount on depriciation on the vehicle. Yet it's worth making themselves poorer to look richer. Go figure...
