Meet the Wilsons Part2 - Fergus goes mad on Radio 5

It will take about 7 years to sell all the propertys if they can sell 1 every 3 days0

Perhaps at least a few of those people they shafted with BMV offers as they grew their empire might get the chance to go round the Wilson's and offer them say 40% BMV on the house they originally owned. I know it won't happen, real life's not like that, but it's a nice thought.0

What I tell youngsters is, 'rent your first flat, but buy your house'
Oh, and it just so happens that I have 875 that you can choose from. Lots of different colours and styles. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
If you listen carefully to the point in the interview when he gives that £150m figure, he seems rather hesitant ... what conclusion could you reasonably draw from that?

Well there are currently 10 2 bed houses for sale in Ashford that have been added in the last 2 weeks. If we (charitably) assume that none of these have been taken off and re-added by Estate Agents then that is 1 per working day.
If the Wilsons are 'only' to double supply it'll take them about 4yrs 4 months to sell everything.
I think they're going to get a quick lesson in liquidity and prices.0 -

Great comment here
Ummm...the Wilsons owned 700 properties two years ago. By my calculation, that means that they bought 200 in the madness of the last two years.
And they bought using interest-only deals.
And they're now needing to sell. In a falling market.
You can smell the fear here. This is hilarious.
I SO, SO hope that this pair end up on the scrapheap. They are symptomatic of everything wrong with Britain: a pair of financial predators, parasites trying to get money for nothing, economic rent-seekers trying to intercept scarce resources, like ticket touts, rather than adding anything of value. And the government has let it happen. A Labour government has allowed this kind of idiocy to drive a wedge through British society, widening the wealth gap in favour of useless money-suckers.
I only hope that rampant inflation doesn't bail them out. If I still lived in the UK I would be absolutely furious at the way people like Wilsons have been rewarded for parasitic activities, while workers and savers have had their wealth siphoned off and eroded by BTL landlords and negative real interest rates (the CPI grossly undercalculates the true rate of inflation). Well, to be honest I'm furious anyway. This is nothing to do with rich and poor, it's about parasitism and unfairness. I just read an article about James Dyson being worth 1 billion. Good luck to the guy, I say: his contribution is enormous and he deserves his reward. But I would love to see the Wilsons ending up losing everything.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. There is something very weird about people who go on tv radio newspapers etc to say how much money they have made.
It seems quite desperate in a way as if making the money was only half the reason. Like someone on Big Brother who won the 100 grand but prefers the attention of the media. I dont HATE people like that, I am mistyfied if anything. There is nothing wrong with a success story but they really have no dignity.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The only real regret is that they can go bankrupt and walk away.
And these days being bankrupt isn't the end of your world.
This will end up as another bill the hard working taxpayer picks up. He partied, we pay.
