What also seems extraordinary is his assertion that the houses are worth £250 mill. That's around £280k each on average, which seems extremely high for 2 bed houses in that area - like double!
I had a quick look on RM - there are only 2 houses with 2 beds that are more than £300k (asking price) most are much less:
£300k+ - 2 places
£250k - £300k - 3 places
£200k - £250k - 6 places
£150k - £200k - 68 places
under £150k - 82 places
So I agree, he's in cloud cuckoo land....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
His houses have lost at least 10-15% already from peak, selling prices are on average 10% below asking prices, so there is 20-25% straight away, then add in at least 1% drop a month for the forseeable future, add in all his re-mortgaging issues that he will have, did I say he was in trouble

The sad or not so sad fact, depending on your point of view is he will probably have passed on before he sells the majority of that portfolio. They may have have bought 20-30 houses in a day but will never be able to sell that many in a year.
They might as well file for bankruptcy now, I just cannot see anyway they can possibly get out of this.0 -

My guess is he'll be on the next 'Celebrity Big Brother', which because of the credit crunch will be set in one of his 'luxury' 280 grand two bed houses!Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever
