It seems to be some websites but not others.

For example, Kelkoo price comparison is a real pain tonight, but Search Engenie is fine.

Do different websites run different scripts/ have different servers?

Maybe it's one kind of website/server that has issues?

We're with AOL (CPW) too and have had a download rate of about 2kb/sec for the last few nights. It's just in the afternoon/evenings that this happens.

Browntoa - couldn't even load up speedtest.net (!!) so had to use bbmax instead, this sorry result is probably the reason:

Download Speed: 13 kbps
Upload Speed: 377 kbps

I have run every test I can think of thinking it is my comp but seems others are having the same problem. Since this afternoon I have not been able to load facebook, itv, music news, good to know plus a good few other sites. I am also on AOL

I am starting to get a little annoyed now :mad:

Am also on AOL and have had a frustrating time tonight. (Also at work, but that's a separate thing). It's been so slow and unable to open several websites.

It's better now.

It's weird, my husband is having no problems. He sat next to me on his lappy and where I can't get facebook, his loaded up straight away perfectly fine! I can't get images on boots either.

bethom - delete Internet Browsing stuff; cache, cookies etc.

Do a virus scan

Restart.

Should be fine and dandy.

I'm having the same problem . I am on AOL- no hotmail and Facebook (sob!), Ebay is slow.
Couldn't use Hotmail at work too.
I think its a general problem

I've done all that, and to no avail. I have run CC, deleted the cookies through FF and IE as well, scanned, restarted, changed my ip and reset my router. The next thing I was going to do was a defrag as I havn't done one in a while.
