    Mutter....I can see what you are saying with the Taxing and License holding of dog owners.....and all for the right reasons.

    However, I cant see that it will ever happen as it will result in it being far more difficult to own a dog than have a child....and that seems a little unbalanced.

    I, for one, will never insure any of my animals so I dont like the idea of it being compulsory. I object to insurance companies earning millions from people like us.

    It is also a massive undertaking that you are proposing and would not be able to operate due to lack of funds. The system will be so abused it is likely to cause many more problems than we have now.

    it is a good idea on the paper but not so in real life as you say so i agree with all that. i think it will be very abused, you are right. not sure abhout not insuring though as lots of people do have to.
  • I think compulsory licensing and chipping would be the easiest, most cost effective way of making people accountable and responsible for their dogs, and the dogs welfare and actions.
