Just had my despatch order email too. I think the main thing with these auction sites is to be sensible, and not to get carried away and buy something because it looks a good price compared with RRP. Always remember to add £8 to the price shown, and then compare the price. Only buy stuff you really want, and you can't go wrong. Incidentally I had the same credit card problem with Identity Direct's Xmas book, turned out it was something as simple as them not asking for a start date on the card, but it took 2 phone calls to work that out!

There's quite a lot of items starting at £1 whether they end at that price is a different matter.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

You have to look through the clearance auctions. They are price dropping auctions with a specified end date and time, but they tend to be limited in the actual amount available. When they have a high quantity of one particular item to get rid of, the price tends to drop lower. The £1 buy nows did not start that low. They got to that point because the quantity available on that particular clearance was quite high (the bracelets were at 15 available when I saw them at £1). Most clearance lines tend to be around the 3-5 quantity, though, so they won't drop to £1 before they sell out. I am watching another set of AWT pans, though - they had 10 sets available 2 days back and they are £39 at the mo. Down to 4 now, so probably won't drop to much lower before they sell out. You don't need to look at auctions with end dates too far away, as they will be more than £1 for a while yet (unless they really do have a lot of that particular item left).

I reckon most of the clearance lines are customer returns or rejected/failed payment orders.

EDIT: Oh, someone just bought one of the AWT pan sets, so it's now down to 3.

    OK, some more...sort of.

This one's a possible to drop to £1. It's currently at £12.81 down from £180 and ends tomorrow at 00.15. There are 3 left and the thing is damn ugly. Now down to 1 and £12.75.
