Thanks for saving me time! I've got one of the condenser boxes for the tumble drier, and it really does cut down on fluff if you can't vent your hose outside.0 -

I've had these pots and pans for quite a few months now. I did pay more than £1 though..but even so, theyre probably the best pans I've ever had. I can certainly vouch for the quality of the AWT products. Hope you enjoy your bargains!0

ok you guys are gonna have to help a real thicky out,
Ive found an item which is a falling price auction currently at £1 bid only, it finishes saturday. (its RRP is over £500)
so presumeably if i put my bid in at £1 am i guaranteed that item ?? there are 8 available so if the next 8 people bid £100 will that force me out of the auction ??
I thought i was quite a clever person till it came to all this !!!

If it says bid from £1 then the price has not started falling yet.
If it says current bid then that is what the price is so far.

You will only win if the auction falls to a £1 or less. If the current price is say £200 and you can bid from £1 then you need to bid the highest price you think the item is worth. If it falls below the price you have bid you win and you get it for the lowest price. Eg if you bid £50 and it falls to £40 then you will win and pay £40, if the bidding stops at £60 you lose.
I hope I'm advising correctly, but thats how I understand it. The glitch I and others have had in the past is when it says Current price is £1 and you can bid or buy it nowLook after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
ok i get it now, so if I were to take a chance and bid £200 it may fall to £30 and be a bargain, but the maximum I could pay is £200.
so what makes the price fall then ?? and whats to stop 8 people all bidding £1 ?
and why is it so bloody hard to understand

The fact nobody is bidding will make the price fall. But it does fall slowly. It will not stop falling until all of the product is sold. It all depends on what people think the item is worth. If 8 people bid a £1 then it would have to drop to £1 and nobody else would have to bid for them to get it. Don't forget you have to pay £7.99 P&P on each item you order.0
