ICESAVE Anyone else do a BACS transfer on Sunday ?

Did anyone else do a BACS transfer on Sunday and if so have you seen the cash turn up ? I did BACS on Sunday but I haven't seen anything yet, the transaction says it was Processed on Monday 6th, I've rang ICESAVE and they said yes it would go through and wouldnt be reversed, but I suppose they will say anything at the moment. I know they say BACS can take uo to 4 days but to be honest if it was comming I would of expected it in my account today I think.

I've pretty much lost everything £ wise even if I do get the £50k back, I put cash from a house sale in ICESAVE just for a month in between selling and moving into new place, I had £175k in there, totally gutted this is a living nightmare

I have been in touch with my bank and they have been inundated by anxious customers since midnight. BACS comes through between 12 and 2 am and they have not received any bacs at all from icesave for anyone. Fingers crossed that there is something tomorrow but it is unlikely

I suggest you print the icesave statement and sit tight with everything crossed

unfortunately, Icesave transactions for sunday and yesterday were reversed according to a few posters I have read. even CHAPS were reversed!

mine has not been reversed hence the importance of a statement

I requested a transfer on Sunday too, which would have arrived but hasn't. We must accept it's not going to; they've clearly defaulted on these payments.

Only the UK govt can help us now. Perhaps time to start writing to MPs.

mine shows ' processed ' but i read that icesave employees were to0ld yesterday by HEAD OFFICE that no transfers had been processed since the 3rd.....

and the fscs say something different - that its only the top up amount .

Darling and brown had better do something very sharp today regards banks and icesave or i think were going to see an overnight revolution - seriously..........people are really f.......o.. , icesave are no doubt just totally irresponsible with no updates online and reversing transfers in order to ' protect ; the parent bank and iceland.......its very ruthless.They have used Icesaves liquidity to save their nation - next up russia will buy iceland- you watch.

chaps was done monday night and nothing. so i doubt bacs are gonna go through if chaps arent.

Yeah I did BacS Monday afternoon. There's sweet FA we can do at the moment but at somepoint it will almost certainly re-appear in the ICEsave accounts. I'm sure they weren't processed.

I also did a transfer request late Friday (3rd) which would have been processed on Monday. Perhaps BACS is just overloaded at the moment, as I also did a transfer from Kaupthing on Sunday, value Monday, which has similarly not appeared this morning.

Has anyone actually managed to get in touch with icesave directly and confirm what has happened for withdrawals over the weekend?

I can't log in to my account as my request was for full closure. I am worried now that my money is lost in the processing system somewhere. Anyone else in the same boat?

lots of ppl are in the same boat.theres many posts about this through the different threads.as normal ppl have been told different things when they rang icesave. from its going through if it was done before 9am yesterday to everything has been stopped so it will re appear in your account. im about to ringthem as i have 8.700 that has bascially disapeared as its show that its been processed in my icesave account but its not in my bank account either. will post what they tell me
