I don't have this card, but I did try to find some restrictions before posting. I guess they have hidden this in their FAQ section as usually.

When you go to the Egg online banking and use BT link on the right hand side, the info request looks as following:
Transfer information
card number
amount £
(min £100 maximum 95% of your available credit limit)

However, it hasn't always been so. I did a BT when they first introduced it last year and only realised the BT had failed when I got an e-mail asking me to check my secure messages.
I'm not sure if it 'blocks' (and lets you know immediately) a >95% BT now, but I see another poster has shown that the limit appears to be clearly stated on the online BT screen.0 -

It's only mentioned in the FAQ (balance transfers) section...

I called (India/Amex) and was told I had a deal of 5.9% ending today, best they could do. The guy laughed when I said that I had heard there was a better deal around. Valid until 10/2.This signature is not mine!0

Hi all
I currently have a Nat West gold credit card whereby the 0% balance transfer deal ends in May. I shall owe about £400 after my February payment. I also intend to pay for a holiday this month on this card (approx. £2500) and then shall look to transfer the whole debt (approx. £3000) to another 0% balance transfer card for as long as possible. My current card limit is £7500. I don't want to pay fees!!
Any advice and experiences would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
