Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer
Comments

Just got mine within the last half hour, into Lloyds TSB, it says f/flow too. Phew! I did my transfer from KE on Monday evening (6th), and it was a biggish amount so looks like all sizes of payments are coming through, not just the smaller ones.
Good luck to those still waiting.
just curious - had you asked Lloyds whether they had anything pending prior to receiving the above. Congrats to you. Still waiting for mine!0 -
Just checked mine at 3.0pm still not there...............:(0

Checked my account 10 minutes ago and nothing there. Checked again just now and it's all there at last - all 3 withdrawals I did on 7th by BACS. I emptied my account (not a formal closure) and they haven't added the interest anywhere (checked Kaupthing too).
So glad this is over for me. Hope everyone gets theirs in time for a relaxing weekend. I didn't realise just how much this was bothering me until I felt the surge of relief when I saw it all in my First Direct account. I really feel for those of you whose house purchases etc are really depending on the timing of this money coming in. Good luck everyone.
Just noticed question from Dutch - I checked with First Direct this morning and they had no notice of anything pending at that stage but reiterated that it's a live system so the situation changes all the time.0 -

(BACS instruction on 7th October - the narrative on FD just says "Advice confirms")
Hope everyone else gets theirs!
Advice confirms means that it is a CHAPS transfer. Nice one on getting your dosh !"A weak currency arises from a weak economy, which in turn is the result of a weak government" - Gordon Brown 1992 -0 -
I got my big money out of kaupthing ahead of the crash but left £100 in there. On the 7th October, I decided to withdraw a further £99 leaving £1 to keep the account alive. Just in the last hour I've had that £99 transfer, requested by BACS, finally appear in my HSBC current account.
Kudos to ING for sorting this appalling mess out.
I'll watch further developments with interest and may in future inject further funds into this Kaupthing / ING account if ING's future continues to look stable.
