How annoying - I can't get the Sugababes song "Push the button" out of my head now!

I find it hard to get the Sugarbabes out of my head all the time. I keep fantasising that they’ll break down outside and want to stay the night with an ugly fat old smelly poor lazy guy. :D
  • it's like they're deliberatelt taunting us by waiting till the 11th hour.....

    I expect mine at 17.59

    BARCLAYS - I'm still waiting!!! isn't that a line from a song ?????

    - I am sooooooooo tired I can hardly type, been 10 days of hell so far and I'm off to docs for some sleeping tablets at 5 - seriously - just can't go through another weekend of not knowing and biting my tongue - I haven't yet uttered the words to my husband "I told you we should have moved the money weeks ago" - what's the point in any more angst - this waiting is terrible and only thing keeping me going is this thread.

Am so pleased for everyone that has got their money - what a relief for you all.

I feel so sorry for you ...I know what you mean - I didn't want to face another weekend of waiting ...I feel guilty now that so many of you are feeling so bad ... I know it seems like empty words, but I'm so sure you will get your money - please don't make yourself ill :heart2: :lovethoug

Have just spoken to KE again, and they definitely confirm that any people who requested closures instead of withdrawals will not be getting their money yet because that involves a manual process and will not be dealt with until the back log of withdrawals has been cleared. No timescale available (surprise, surprise). Bummer.

Yeah, my hsbc said "Advice confirms" which must mean CHAPs!! Just want the big payout from tuesday AM BACs
  • It still seems that BACS payments are being prioritised over CHAPS....This happened last Friday I seem to recall !!!!
  • It's arrived! It's arrived! Into Halifax requested by BACS on 7/10 - dont know if it's come in as BACS or CHAPS yet. Hope everyone else - especially JennyC also at Halifax - gets cash soon.
Had got to the point that I WANTED TO SCREAM at all the "calm down you'll get it soon and if not there's always the FSA" contributors. This is my situation.
Transferred Student Finance Company Loan over to KE once received coz I thought it was the "sensible" thing to do - put it in a high interest, instant access account rather than leave it sitting in my Halifax student c/a where it a) might not be secure and b) I might be tempted to "invest" it somewhere between the Student Union bar and Topshop. I had already transferred in to KE my savings of two years of EMA payments from 6th form plus Saturday job cash etc. Not a fortune to some of you but a fair whack I think and all I had. My first rent payment to student halls is due early next week and I was cacking it that direct debit would bounce and I would be kicked out. So, thank you all but no, "FSA would eventually sort it out" wasnt that helpful. Excuse rant of relief and hope it works out ok for you all. I'll keep watching the thread and - by the way - do you think Bradford & Bingley (6.51%) is ok or should I revert to Plan A and get down the Union before staggering to Top Shop??? :j
