i reckon you're right - it would be quite an interesting study because we've all been thrown together into a very stressful situation - our thoughts typed up would probably provide good fodder for anyone looking for a 'real-world' case of financial worry!

Yes, in a way it has been interesting to watch this emotional roller coaster- to name a few of them - panic, anger, stress, cynicism, arguments, encouragement , all interspersed by group hugs, drunkedness (real and virtual), humour and finally hope that Fiday will bring joy!:j

If somebody had said a few months ago that you would feel like winning the lottery just to get money back that you have earned in the first place - would you have beleived them?

I am surprised no-one has picked up on the line "There are a very small number of manual payment instructions which are still being processed and will take slightly longer."

Sorry Chippy, this has actually been mentioned several times......according to ING(if you believe it),this seems to refer to savers who duplicated transfer requests. If you look back over the recent pages, you'll see more details.

I thought Chippy was talking about the You may be aware that a small number of customers have experienced some issues in the processing of payments on their accounts.bit rather than this. It does kind of relate to all of us that are still waiting. But Yes, I agree they go on to mention another small number that won't get their money until Friday!

The money will be in accounts by friday in most cases.. People on here have been annoyed rightly or wrongly with ING's approach so far.
Shutting people up for a few days makes no sense because the anger will be twice as bad come friday.. The fact that they have made official statements (on their website) and the fact it has been reported on the BBC website should reassure everyone that this is for real and money will be in linked accounts come close of business friday..

Comments to the contrary is just scaremongering or plain negativity to which enough has been posted already.. I'm just looking forward to seeing my money in my account before the weekend where some will be spent on drinks no doubt!!

We have no choice but to accept what is now being said as we had with KE
before they went into administration advising us everything was rosey.
