My earlier post was simply to admonish those who had resorted to name calling which I felt was lowering the tone of discussion.I have read every post on here and I think I am able to make an informed opinion of the posts that were helpful and those that were not.
My later post was I believe factual in as much as the help and advise received from Martin and Dan was less than that received from KE/ING which in itself was pretty dire. To cut and paste an announcement from the KE/ING web site ,already posted on these pages, seemed to be a bit pointless. This of course is only my opinion
I too have read every post and feel the same way. We disagree on a small matter and I'm happy to leave things at that.0 -

To be sure that your withdrawal request has definitely gone through, you should be taken to a new confirmation screen with the words "Print Confirmation" and "Finished" at the bottom. This screen will have full details of your Withdrawal Amount,Requested Withdrawal date,Account name & number,Linked account sort code,A/C number,Payment method (BACS),Transaction reference,Withdrawal description,Transaction fee.
Once I even had to click on the "Payment" icon for up to three times before the system finally woke up. There seems to be a software bug with KE's IT system I think. Anyhow, the answer is yes, you should see the withdrawal amount deducted from your total balance once you pass the "We confirm that we have received the following instructions:" screen. Cheers !!
If it's not showing the deducted balance does that mean it's definitely not gone through then? I've sent them a secure message but it seems to be coming up with errors.0 -
I feel far more positive tonight now that we at least have something in writing. A big :T to ING.
As far as :money: is concerned, let's not forget that without him, this site would not exist and we would most likely have been chasing our tails on our own rather than swapping notes between 'virtual friends'. It would have been a lot harder for us all.
I have been following this thread from the start and have read every post:eek:   , time to chill I think, roll on Friday (or sooner maybe?):rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
add me too please Thanks!KE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0

Folks
The cause for concern up until 4pm today, was that there was no concrete information of where our money was, when we were likey to see it & in fact, what will happen to what we have left!........A publice statement has now been made with a deadline if you like & I for one are that little bit more confident. However, this statement does not contain anything specific on when normal business will resume - That would be my only concern at this time
Best to wait until Friday, I'm sure the so called baclog will in the most be cleared
