Having read all the posts on this thread I noticed that many posters have said what the consequences of their missing money is, e.g.
Unable to pay bills
Missed mortgage payments
Lack of concentration at work
Sleepless nights

Personally, after having spent the best part of a week on my laptop reading posts, I think Dry Roasted Nuts is my major concern.

In my complete panic on Wednesday 08 October at 8.00am, I requested they close both my accounts (one fixed term, which meant closing it early, and one basic)
and CHAPS the money to my link account, but just like everyone else nothing happened, I was one of the lucky ones and could still see my money, I just wasn't allowed to have it! So can some bright person please tell me in their humble opinion if potentially I would be one of the lucky ones on Friday, or because my account is going to be closed I will still have to play the waiting/ringing and forum watching game?????

Since theres another list on the go - Why dont we compile one where people would like to donate to nominated charities as mentiond before. The mods of the site could maybe contact ING to open up a special account where we could send our donations...........Now that really would show how much of a compassionate bunch we are :-))

Not sure if anyone has the answer, or has already made one up... might give a little late night relief to the stress of today and until Friday arrives...
