Humper - When you finally manage to make contact with ICICI do what I did. Tell them not to bother resetting you password but to transfer your balance (with interest) to your linked account and to email you when they have made sufficient investment in their infrastructure that means you can actually get to your money when you want. I am convinced that the don't invest because the situation you face plays into their hands (i.e. they hang on to your money longer).
Yeah but they're all as bad as each other. May as well just keep balances < FSCS limit and put up with iffy service.0 -
I've also successfully logged on to ICICI today, it was a little slower than normal, which is not altogether surprising.
Yes, but when you wait ~ 3 minutes for the site to respond to your login in attempts with no response and then get "You have reached your maximum no of login attempts" then that's just unacceptable. What's wrong with "Server busy, please try later"?0 -

Worse, it's going to go bankrupt and take ALL OF OUR ACCUMULATED KNOWLEDGE. Reckon we should panic and spread all our posts around, say 35 on each forum...?0 -

The ICICI website is rubbish - I have nothing but problems getting in and I'm on 8Mb broadband.
I'm getting fed up of how slow it is so I'm going to take my business elsewhere as they can't be bothered investing in decent servers.0
