Nothing received here either... my lloyds account usually updates at 11pm. I don't have much faith. In fact, I feel quite sick.

i did a bacs last night without really realising how bad the situation was. chacked my account today and it is showing the funds have gone. are you guys saying this is the case for your chaps transactions and therefore you are expecting the money to be put back into the icesave account?

Matty2767: Sounds like you're in the same situation as me. I'm going to keep checking my current account and Icesave account. Sadly I expect the money to show up in the Icesave account...

I have the same story. Requested transfer by CHAPS last night. Money gone from account plus CHAPS charge this morning but nothing at Lloyds. Is it normal that even though I requested CHAPS (and paid for it) that the statement description for the withdrawal starts with "DD "?

OK let us be calm --I think all of us ICESAVE moneysavers have to "get together" all of us and unite to form some of alliance in order to attempt to get our money back -like you I closed my account and chaps this morning and O arrived.

How can we get an action plan going togehter as this will be the only way to fight this --await repsonse -lets get the ball rolling and see how to procede-I hope that Martin can help us in this .

According to the guy I spoke to at Icesave it is in an Icesave "Clearing" account and should bounce back into our Icesave accounts tonight/tomorrow.

Just spoke to Icesave at 17.39 today. I set up two CHAPS transfers last night (one from Savings one from ISA), about 11pm and they went through as processed between 7am and 8am this morning. One went through as I was online.

The lady I just spoke to at Icesave said that they did NOT go through and that they will appear back on my Icesave account in 'a couple of days'. Gutted. Just hope that either Iceland can stay afloat, that the Scandinavian countries come to the rescue or the UK FSCS agrees to cover the first £16,300. I can't believe the government will let a few hundred thousand people swing on this one...we shall see.
