Anyone received a CHAPS from Icesave today?

I requested a CHAPS transfer last night and closed my account. I've just spoken to Icesave and the guy reckoned that the transaction will NOT go through as it will have had todays date on it. Someone on a previous thread said that they had asked if transactions requested before 9am this morning would be honoured and was told that they would.

No money is showing up in the account I transfered to at the moment.

I get the feeling that any requests that should have happened this morning have been stopped. It'd be helpful if Icesave would clarify the situation.

i did a chaps latee last night nothing in my account now. my bank say if its not in by 5pm it should be in first thing tom. if not i need to ring icesave. what worries me is that my money is now in mid air interms of it says in my icesave account that the money has been processed yet its not in my bank so nearly 10K is in the air somewhere. if u get what i mean

well then i hope the money u asked to be transfered will go back into your icesave account so u can actually see the amount rather then worryingthat its gone into thin air

I was told that the money will show up in the account tonight/tomorrow morning when it has bounced back through the clearing account.

Same here. If you close the account you can't access it. They told me today if it does not go through it will bounce and open the account again but who knows.

my account is still open. i left a couple of hundred in there so i can check the details. yeah i would presume if it doesnt go through it should bounch back.but im justworried about my 10 k ontop of 20k i have in as an isa.

ok i just hope it goes into mybank account instead. i only work casual and cant relay on a wage. yetwill ahve al lthis mney i cant access. what a nightmare. this country stinks should just take all the money and !!!!!! off round the world and spend it

I withdrew all of my savings last night via CHAPS around 1:30am.

Nothing in bank yet.. interestingly I can still log into my account though and it clearly shows the £30 CHAPS fee being taken, and the money being transferred out.

Transactions are showing as "processed".

When I rang IceSave however they mentioned something about it possibly not going through and that they were waiting to hear back from Landsbanki about transfers out?

Guy sounded extremely dejected, as I imagine I did too.

I rang them twice today and they said it had left and would go through.
I have not received an email or anything.
