Postal Charges

Hi,
Sorry if I'm double posting anyone.
Speaking as someone who used to sell and buy a LOT on eBay, it IS allowed for a seller to reasonably increase postage charges after auction end.
you are NOT allowed to increase the postage cost after auction end.
not unless buyer requests insurance or if it is to post internationally when only uk postage was stated0 -
yup postage can reasonably be increased for international bidders or for another service
eg a buyer requests special delivery and you stated 1st class
not just when the seller decides to up the costs0 -
I have reported the matter to ebay regarding the extra postal charges, the seller is a power seller, selling some 12,000 items so she should be more than aware of the postage costs for her goods.0

the purchase/contract you have agreed to is the one detailed in the listing, if the postage specified £3 then that is what you should pay.
the only reason any extra should be added is if the buyer requests it ie. extra insurance, different delivery speed.:grouphug:
no wonder he has a smile on his face...0
