Numerous websites have appeared since depositors of Icelandic banks were cast adrift minus their savings and in some cases without an adequate compensation scheme.
The Alliance Against the Great Icelandic Bank Swindle (AAGIBS) is an effort to build a network among these depositors' groups to share ideas, gather intelligence and coordinate strategy.
