If terms and conditions can be repeatedly changed whats the point in having to sign to agree with them to begin with

P.s Not on about here of course But T&C's anywhere?

Sometimes practicalities dictate a need to change terms and conditions. What's good for a small start up business may not cover them if they take off and grow into a large company.

You normally find somewhere in the terms, that they can change them as they feel the need and at any time. Frans reminder that we need to go back sometimes and re-read terms and conditions is a good pointer to us all. Most places will notify you of changes, but you may miss the message (as it seems I did for this site).

There is a really good example of this at the going on at the moment. Plusnet (an internet service provider) changed their conditions massively recently. The service that their customers used to receive is not anywhere near the same as they do now. They emailed their customers to notify them of the changes and gave them 2 weeks to respond. A lot of their customers are now complaining about these changes, but it could be seen that if they didn't respond in the two weeks, it shows their acceptance of the changes.

Basically........If you don't accept the terms, you wont receive the service/goods/product.
