    The first month is over

Can't believe I've got through the first month and not once has my Oh mentioned anything negative about the food he's been given. Everyone has eaten well with OS cooking and baking.

When working out the number of meals I needed to buy for I had forgotten about veggie meals. So a couple of meals have been almost free.

Roated stuffed butternut squash stuffed with courgettes, red pepper, cherry tomatoes with pinenuts & goats cheese - add to buy reduced goats cheese and pinenuts (enough pn for another meal)

pasta dish made with HM tomato sauce, garlic, chilli, basil and few handfulls of spinach thrown in for the last 4 minutes served on pasta with goats cheese.

Spent a bit more than i had wanted to from the £200 budget but we did go on holiday so taking that into account I think I've done well.

still have the £35 on the tesco giftcard left waiting for the salmon to be reduced but i might use some of it to buy the smoked haddock they have on offer.

Big thanks thankyou for all of your tips and recipes som some of you posted and pm'd last month it was a big help.
    Kind Regards
    Maz
