I had kids off yesterday cos of teacher training day, so didn't start yesterday's tasks. Then when I went to bed, found I couldn't sleep, so came down and tidied all downstairs before going to bed at 3am:eek: . Today I'll do the upstairs and put all summer clothes away.

    Hope pigpen is ok.

    Morning all

    Hugs all round.

It seems the tables the Dr gave me yesterday seem to be having the correct effect!! However I am going to give it a few days just to make sure!

Work is off to an exhibition this week, so today I have to pack up the exhibition boxes of all the stuff we will need, so they can be checked tomorrow to make sure I've not left anything out!!

So I'll be working at the exhibition on Friday and Saturday, with best company clothes on, make up on!, smart shoes, and a fixed smile on my face!! I bet I get achey feet, but it should be a good couple of days.

Which means I'll get no flying done on Saturday, which is my main day.

Last night cooked pork chops and veg. Tonight going to do chicken pie with veg.

Unpacked the DW, ran it over night.

    Catch up later.

Pigpen where the pluck are you honey, don't do disappearing acts because we worry ((squishy hugs)) for you

Greenbee, thanks for what you posted, made some very good points there. At the moment I get a massive amount of satisfaction from what I am involved with on a voluntary basis. With it being voluntary I don't feel as bad if I can't make it because I am ill and the flexibility allows for medical appointments etc. Especially with the focus groups involved with the changes in the county for disabled children, in part I think I wish I got paid for it, but if I did I'd have to answer to them and not the other way round :D when you're parents wanting changes in service you need to be entirely independant. We do get lunch usually, funding provided for wonderful venues to hold conferences for parents, there is expenses things in the pipeline now aswell. It however is giving me a massive amount of experience of dealing with professionals vey high up in their service, well heads of service to be honest and I have no doubt I could approach several for references if required.

Right enough waffling, time to go and get my cuddles, after I get the duvet out of the washer and put it in the TD because it's chuffing raining!
One day I might be more organised...........
