I often add peas and sweetcorn, and also crack an egg into it and mix before serving - lovely version of egg fried rice.
Its nice with grated cheese on top too!!!
We changed to brown rice about 5 years ago, and my children only realised a few months ago - DS tried to complain, but i told him he had been eating it fine for 4 years, so could stop the winging!!!!
Lol ... Thanks for those suggestions ... sounds lovely ... especially with the grated cheese on top ...:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

With tuna and olive oil, .... Or a nice mushroom sauce... or fresh cream and mushroom... or cheese and a bit of marjoram...Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

Hiya,
I made rice for tea the other night, it was lovely! I fried up some sliced bacon we had left over with some olive oil and chestnut mushrooms, put that to one side when cooked (kept warm in the oven), then used the same pan (as I cooked bacon in) to fry some onion and garlic. Added rice and a stock cube, waited 15 mins for it to cook, mixed it with grated cheese, added bacon and mushroon, stirred and topped with a lil bit more cheese and black pepper..
Hope this helps,
