Really good picture, much better than the old one.
I quite like the green background but the one thing I would change is the yellow writing. It seems out of place and I would just make it red like the 'Martin Lewis' bit. Less fussy but still eyecatching.Herman - MP for all!

After having another look I think that one of the reasons I'm not keen on it is that it makes the page look quite 'busy'.
While I find it easy to navigate around the site ( I ignore the headers, banners and other stuff usually) I wonder how a new user would view the site. I'm trying to look at it with a fresh eye and the only word I can come up with is 'busy'.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
I much prefer the photo - it actually looks like you now, Martin.
However, I'm with mrgoof on the green and yellow. I find the yellow words fussy and almost interfering and I don't like the larger M, S and E (although I know why you've done it) Maybe the larger letters could be saved for the logo by the photo?0 -
