I am another that has this account along with an ISA with them (Issue 4 @ 6.25%).

The rate has come down but still not bad compared to others around. No doubt another drop is round the corner. Isnt it amazing how quickly the email notifying us of a drop in interest rate arrives...

been 3.41% since mid December. I only have £26 in there now! Not that you can tell from the site.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, seems like this is at 1.26% now, whereas the new Internet saver issue 7 is at 2.50% - is there anyway to easily upgrade?

Almost tempted to just switch entirely but it's a bit of a hassle... really don't like the way they keep bringing out new accounts though, just seems an excuse to pass existing customers onto lower interest rates.

Just apply online for the new account, then when it appears online alongside your old account, you can then transfer the whole balance of the old account to the new one. It will say something like do you want to close, or it assumes (can't remember). It will then close the account transferring the balance plus any accrued interest to the new account.
